Welcome to the HOW TO DO SPEED DATING EXAMPLE POST.


+ If you have a FEMALE character you will be posting your comments to the MAIN POST after the first two sub-sections.

+ Your comment should have the Contents of the card that you were provided by either your own creativity or that of whoever signed your character up for SPEED DATING.

+ Female Characters ONLY: Please post your comment to this post ASAP. Create a NEW comment and make sure to place your character's NAME in the subject line.

+ Male Characters ONLY: Starting on the 16th please feel free to begin commenting to the available FEMALE characters. By having the girls post their comments up ahead of time, hopefully this will make it easier for you to run through and hit as many of the characters at once. Also, males, I'm sorry that I forgot to put M/F in the dating card.. feel free to add that. ;;

+ ALL CHARACTERS: Feel Free to hit up the PRE-Event and POST-Event mingling threads if you want to.

+ SPEED DATING CRASHERS:

If you are a FEMALE and want to crash the event, mark your comment down as its own thread. Mark down that you are CRASHING and do not use a dating card. Instead, set up your own booth/thread/table comment. Let the dater know what they are walking into.

If you are a MALE and want to crash the event, mark your comment down in reply to a female comment. Mark down that you are CRASHING and do an AUTOMATIC introduction. Do not use the card comment. Just talk your way into this date.

MORE NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS

As you can see in the first date the female character determined when the date was over and in the second date the male character did.

There is NO rule on who has to end the date or when it should end. Technically speaking it should equate to 7 minutes.

You can try to read your tags out loud if you want to go for something more accurate, but as long as you ACTUALLY state that the date has ended, I won't be spot checking to make sure people have finished tagging.


THIS PLOT/EVENT IS BACKTAG FRIENDLY. I will be making my first set of rounds to poke at people to see if they are continuing to tag on the 27th of December. I will give you guys all the holiday and everything. My reminder check will just be a note to let you know which threads you still have open and to get in touch with that person to either imply or continue to tag the thread. That's it! Easy to do!
